11:57 am Update: Light snow will continue to fall across parts of Ohio this afternoon. Any snow accumulations should stay less than half of an inch. A weak cold front has settled south through Lake Erie and will continue to fuel these light snow showers. Along with the snowflakes, temperatures are on their way down. We'll drop out of the 30s and into the 20s this evening. Grab the winter coats and get ready for a cold and snowy weekend. We could have 1-3" of snow area-wide by Sunday night.
10:00 am Update: Southern counties have filtered sunshine this morning, while areas farther north are under a blanket of clouds. The cold front is passing through Northeast Ohio right now with scattered light snow showers in tow. Accumulations will be minimal and shouldn't disrupt your travel.
Peeks of sunshine will greet you this morning with above average temperatures in the low 30s.
Behind a weak cold front, temperatures won't rise much this afternoon. Most areas will hover near freezing. Scattered light snow showers are possible after lunchtime. If you see any snow, accumulations will be under 1/2".
Isolated snow showers continue tonight with lows around 18 degrees.
After a dry start Saturday, scattered snow showers are possible again in the afternoon. Little to no accumulation is expected. High temperatures will be cooler, in the upper 20s.
The coldest air of the week arrives Sunday. High temperatures will drop to 23 degrees with a chance of afternoon snow showers.
Warmer air returns Monday as highs surge to 40 degrees. Low pressure crosses Ohio Tuesday, bringing rain early in the day, then rain and snow showers in the afternoon.
Dry weather follows Wednesday and Thursday.
