Forecast: Above average temperatures for Sunday with slightly cooler weather Monday

CLEVELAND - Follow Jason on Facebook and Twitter for forecast updates.

A few light showers under mostly cloudy skies for Sunday night. Lows will drop into the 40s. It's looking like 40s for highs on Monday, with mostly cloudy skies. Again, we'll see a slight shower chance, mainly later in the day.

Expect mostly cloudy skies Sunday with a few showers around, mainly earlier in the day. Temps will be mild for this time of the year. Highs should reach into the middle and even upper 50s.

Light rain is moving out of the east west to east. Clouds skies should be the rule as we bottom out in the middle 40s, mild for this time of the year.

Showers are moving into our western counties this afternoon and will continue to push east affecting much of the region by tonight. Temps will settle in the 40s.

Update: With peeks of filtered sunshine, temperatures have climbed to the low 40s at 11 a.m. Scattered areas of rain may affect portions of Northeast Ohio this afternoon, but the best chance of rain comes after 4 p.m. for western counties and after 5 p.m. for eastern counties.
Clouds are increasing across Northeast Ohio as low pressure moves from the Plains to the Midwest.

Morning temperatures are cool, around freezing. Temperatures will warm to the mid-40s by lunchtime and highs will approach 50 degrees this afternoon.

As a warm front arrives this evening, expect scattered areas of rain after 3 p.m. Rain will move west to east through 10 p.m. Temperatures will hold steady in the upper 40s.

It will be breezy and mild overnight. Lows will fall to the mid-40s under cloudy skies.

I can't rule out a few showers early Sunday, but the Browns game is looking mostly dry! Temperatures will soar to the mid-50s with breezy conditions.

After a warm start to next week, rain showers return Monday evening. As slightly cooler air filters overhead Tuesday, scattered rain and snow showers are possible east of Cleveland.

I'm watching a warmer weather system that will bring rain Thursday, but colder air wrapping around that system will bring us a good shot of snow showers Friday.
