POSTED: 8:45 am EST December 29, 2004

The city of Cleveland estimates more than 2,000 cars are still buried under ice and snow on the side of the roads, NewsChannel5 reported.

Officials are reminding drivers that their cars are in violation of the citywide snow ban. The snow ban goes into effect when more than 2 inches of snow is on the ground.
