Tornado May Have Hit Area

Officials To Survey Damage

Severe weather rolled through the area overnight, causing a tornado warning to be issued for Stark County.

No injuries were reported, but residents are cleaning up after damaging winds and torrential rain and large hail hit the area.

National Weather officials will survey the damage to determine if a tornado touched down.

WEWS reported Canal Fulton seemed to be hit by the brunt of the storm. Several homes there have damage after trees fell.

A Boy Scouts troop was struck by lightning as the storm blew through. (Read More)
