CLEVELAND -- Two 16-year-olds were arrested after a teenager was shot and killed Tuesday night in the parking lot of a gas station on Cleveland's east side.

Jerry Goodwin, 18, was shot in the chest at the Speedy Mart gas station on Broadway Avenue near East 55th Street at 8:50 p.m. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said two males on bicycles fled the scene after the shooting.

Shortly thereafter, the same described males reportedly shot at two CEI employees working nearby, police said.

Fourth District officers located and detained the Cleveland teens in connection with the slaying.

Police said the victim was shot over a dispute.
