CLEVELAND -- Cleveland police officials said 12 fugitives were arrested Tuesday morning in an effort that targeted felony warrants on the city's east side.

The arrest teams included officers and agents from the Cleveland police at the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

One of the people arrested, Delvonte Phillpotts, was wanted on fugitive and escape charges and was recently featured as the U.S. Marshals fugitive of the week.

Officers also seized two firearms during the sweep.
