Teen To Be Tried As Adult In Bay Village Grad's Death

A 17-year-old suspect in the death of a Bay Village High School graduate was bound over to adult court during a probable cause hearing on Tuesday.

Anthony Pollard is accused of shooting 19-year-old Mosah Shafik to death on West 83rd Street in March.

He is also accused of injuring Bay Village student 17-year-old Zaki Touma.

Pollard will remain in juvenile detention until he is transported to the adult jail or makes bond, which Judge Thomas O'Malley set at $1 million.

Pollard is charged with aggravated murder, attempted murder and aggravated robbery.

An Avon man, 22-year-old Anthony Faraj, is accused of setting up the two victims to be robbed in the Cleveland neighborhood.

He's charged with aggravated murder, felonious assault and aggravated robbery.
