UPDATED: 9:02 am EDT May 13, 2008

Funeral services will be held today for a grandfather and grandson killed in a crash last week.

Calling hours are 11 a.m. until noon at Friendship Baptist Church and the funeral will be held immediately after for 4-year-old Javarre Tate and Ron Anderson.

They died in a Tuesday morning accident when Anderson was taking his grandson, Javarre, to school and collided into a fire truck at the intersection of 13th Street and Walnut Road in Massillon.

Authorities said the fire engine was responding to a vehicle fire when it hit Anderson's minivan, pushing it some 80 yards.

The driver of the fire truck was a relative of one of the victims.

Four firefighters were taken to local hospitals for injuries.
