CLEVELAND - Cleveland police confirmed a woman is dead after losing control of her car on I-90 east Thursday afternoon.
Authorities said the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on I-90 eastbound at W. 84th Street. According to police, 38-year-old Chryseis Bowens, lost control of her car, hit a cement divider then flipped several times.
Bowens was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash has forced authorities to close both W. 117th Street entrance ramps to I-90 eastbound so police could complete their investigation. The right three lanes of I-90 east at W. 84th Street were shutdown for over three hours.
