CLEVELAND - All lanes of I-71 north have reopened following a chain-reaction crash in Cleveland involving a police cruiser.

The original crash turned out to be in the city of Brooklyn, so officers from that city responded to that incident.
All I-71 northbound traffic was closed up until about 4:30, while the accident investigation unit examined the crash.
Traffic was backed up for miles and was diverted off the highway at the West 65 th Street exit.
