A ramp in Tremont will be temporarily reopened for Friday morning's commute.
CLEVELAND - Your commute could be affected by the placing of new steel beams over Ontario Street. The Ohio Department of Transportation said it plans to schedule the construction work around events taking place downtown.
Starting Monday: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Ontario will have lane restrictions from E 14th St to Carnegie. The ramp from 90E will be open but traffic will be shifted.
Monday-Thursday from 8 p.m. - 6 a.m., Ontario will be shut down from E. 14th to Carnegie including the ramps from 90E and 77S.
Tuesday- Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., the left lane of inbound Ontario will be closed, and the right lane of the outbound side.
In Tremont, Farifield Avenue will be closed under 90. Kenilworth or Starkweather are alternates.
Buses replace trains east of Tower City beginning at 8 p.m. through the end of service on Monday and Tuesday, April 1 and 2. On Public Square, buses will pick up and drop off near the Horseshoe Casino, and make stops at every Red, Blue and Green line station.
