HUBBARD, Ohio - A crash involving a cattle truck on Interstate 80 temporarily closed the highway and left about two dozen cows dead.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes at about 4 a.m. when the cattle truck rolled over, according to the Trumbull County post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The incident happened near the Ohio-Pennsylvania state lines, about a mile before exit 234.
At the time of the crash, 23 cows were on the truck, and most of them were killed in the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.
The driver of the truck was not seriously injured in the crash, Highway Patrol said.
One eastbound lane of the highway has re-opened. No other information is available at this time.
