AKRON, Ohio -- The city of Akron may again turn to food to take care of its roads.Last year, the city used beet juice to help clean up icy roads. Now, city council is being asked to approve testing out a soybean asphalt sealant on three residential streets.City leaders told the Akron Beacon Journal they hope the mixture is both more eco-friendly and longer-lasting than petroleum-based sealers.
