Don't Get Spammed, Block Junk E-Mail
Service Keeps Unwanted Messages From Your Inbox
Sometimes, offensive messages invade your e-mail account.
However, there is a way to make that garbage disappear.
According to NewsChannel5, spam can be most dangerous if you have children.
"There are other things that go with spam, pornography, consumers scams and all the nasty byproducts of the spasm revolution as it were," John Mozena with the Coalition Against Unsolicited E-mail said.
Mozena explains that more than 90 percent of Internet users get it, sometimes on a daily basis.
"Ultimately spam has the potential to shut down the e-mail system so that none of us can send e-mail to our aunts, to our friends, to our business associates," Mozena said.
A free service on the 'Net could help you fight the problem. Brightmail provides anti-spam protection.
"We're seeing many spammers leave a fingerprint or name that we can look at to block them in the future," Mozena said.
