It takes a special person to be a great teacher. Every Monday during News 5 at 5, we'll award an amazing educator as the News 5 Teacher of the Week.
Complete the entry form below to nominate a deserving teacher today.
To nominate a teacher, you must be a school principal, counselor, a parent of a school-aged child, or student with parent permission. Nominations will be accepted for teachers of any grade level, from kindergarten through high school or vocational schools, who demonstrates some (but not necessarily all) of the following five qualifications:
Identify a teacher who demonstrates some (but not necessarily all) of the following five qualifications:
1. Persistence in giving personal best
2. An inspiring example to others
3. Educational success
4. Strong contribution to school and/or community (through classroom activities, volunteerism, school clubs, extra-curricular activities, projects, etc.)
5. Love of teaching
