Joe Montana Leads Effort To Control High Blood Pressure

Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana visited NewsChannel5 Wednesday to talk about high blood pressure.

Montana
Nearly 60 million people have high blood pressure, yet many don't know it.

And among those who do and are taking blood pressure medication, 50 percent still have numbers that are too high.

Montana has also been battling high blood pressure. He was diagnosed in 2002 with hypertension.

He worked to get his blood pressure under control and now wants to help other achieve the same success.
