Cleveland - Irving will be re-evaluated by doctors after practice and if all goes well he is expected to be a full participant in practice tomorrow as the team continues to get ready for Wednesday night's game at the "Q" against Indiana.
Cavs coach Byron Scott told the media this afternoon that he is optimistic that Irving will be able to practice tomorrow and continue to get better for Wednesday's game, but is going by what the doctors and trainers are telling him and that's all.
Irving has been outstanding in his rookie year for the Cavs and there is no doubt the team is being very cautious with the rookie as he makes his way back.
Anderson Varejao will also be looked at by doctors this week to see how his broken right wrist is healing. Surgery is still in option and has not been ruled out but the team wants to wait to see what doctors have to say this week before making an decisions. Varejao is expected to miss at least two more weeks.
