Enjoy hiking CVNP's more difficult trails, but not under the sweltering sun? Burn calories, not skin, during this biweekly fitness series as we briskly hike in the early morning hours. 4.5 miles of the moderately difficult Salt Run and Lake trails.

Cruise-In Movie "Grease"
Friday, June 22, Wallace Lake, Mill Stream Run Reservation, Berea
Watch the 1978 classic, Grease, and bring your greased lightening hot rod to the specially - reserved parking lot to enjoy the film. There will be separate parking for general audience to watch the movie from your car, the beach, or the grassy hill. The Big Campout

Get away from it all and bring your tents and campers to Penitentiary Glen Reservation for our fourth annual Big Campout! Enjoy all sorts of nature programs, hikes and a good old-fashioned cookout. Campout overnight, cook over an open fire, make s'mores, sing songs and tell stories, around the fire, go on a night hike, explore the night sky, see a live animal show and enjoy many more great activities! Saturday, June 23, 8 a.m., Metroparks Serving Summit County's Deep Lock Quarry, Lock 29 Towpath Trail in Peninsula.
This is a hiking club for those adults who can hike four to six miles at a brisk pace. Walking trails can be mildly strenuous with a limited amount being off trail. Please dress for the weather, and be sure to have appropriate footwear. Ages 10 to adult. No registration required. Free.
Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers (NEOLS): All Aboard!

Bring your family and friends out to Lester Rail Trail for train rides around a miniature railroad and station house. Members of NEOLS, a miniature railroad group, will offer this free park program. Summer Splash Features Canoeing, Kayaking, Dock Dogs, Eagles!
Saturday, June 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Walborn Reservoir, 11324 Price St. NE, near Alliance.
Stark Parks annual boating event features free canoeing, kayaking, and pontoon boat rides. Dock Dogs and the Ohio Division of Wildlife will have demonstrations, and you can view nesting bald eagles and a variety of waterfowl at this beautiful setting. No reservations required.
