SULLIVAN, Ohio - The busy halls of Black River High School is the home of senior Sebastian Vidika. Sebastian is a four-year letter winner in wrestling. He has been a three time state qualifier and the Division III 2014 state champion in the 106 pound weight class.
"It feels amazing knowing that all that hard work paid off for the four years. Every summer I would train free style and Greco and lifting, so it's nice getting that goal achieved," said Sebastian.
That same hard work that he put on the mat is the same hard work he put in the classroom as a class officer and a member of student council maintaining a 4.28 grade point average.
"He's motivated to accomplish anything and anything that he's tries to. And he will be successful because of his motivation," said Sebastian's calculus teacher Dale Shisler.
Sebastian will continue his wrestling career at Ashland University. And after graduation from Ashland he wants to become a Navy Seal.
