Nick continued his winning during the 2013-2014 season as the Top Gun champion at 132 pounds and MIT runner-up at 138 pounds, and he is also is a state qualifier.
"Nick is probably the hardest worker that I have ever worked with in over 20 years and that's a lot of quality kids. He also a great student, a good person. He's a young man that acts with class and honor," said head wrestling coach Daniel Kaczmarek.
Wrestling is not the only thing that is important to Nick.
"For me grades is first and wrestling is second. If I'm just good at wrestling and I don't have good grades then I won't get into a good school for wrestling. It's important for me to have good grades to further my education for the rest of my life," said Nick.
Nick plans to go to Lake Erie College and major in criminal justice and wrestle.
