BROOKLYN,Ohio - Kenny Squires of Brooklyn High is the goalie for the hockey team. He's also a baseball and football player. He rushed for over 1,300 yards and had twelve touchdowns for the Hurricanes during this past football season. This three-sport athlete's toughness and hard work is getting praised from his coaches.
"Kenny is a very hard working player. He was elected captain of the football team. He was a senior that our younger kids looked up to," said Head Football Coach Jay O'Hanlon.
"Kenny is a great athlete. He's got a great attitude...somebody that's always willing to do what you need," said Head Hockey Coach Matt Field.
Kenny has a plan that will always keep him close to sports after his playing days are over.
"I want to be an athletic trainer because it will keep me around sports and I really would like to be aN athletic trainer for a football team," said Kenny.
