COLUMBUS - Villa Angela-St. Joseph took care of Columbus Bishop Ready 55-40 to advance to the Division III state title game on Saturday.
The Vikings are looking to become the first school in state history to win a state championship in all four divisions.
VASJ led, 40-35, to start the fourth but scored the first 10 points to blow it open. A pair of free throws by Carlton Bragg with 3:23 left established a 50-35 advantage.
The Vikings will play Lima Central Catholic for the state title at 4:30 p.m. March 22.
