Northeast Ohio teams headed to Columbus next week

CLEVELAND - The OHSAA Boys State Championships will have plenty of Northeast Ohio flavor when the state semi finals begin on Thursday morning.

In Division I the St. Edward Eagles will make their eighth final four trip after taking care of Mansfield Senior 74-47. Joining the Eagles will be East Tech after an exciting 62-60 overtime win over Uniontown Lake at the Wolstein Center.

In Division II the Norwalk Truckers edged Lima Bath to earn the schools first trip to Columbus. They will be joined by the Irish of St.Vincent St. Mary who defeated Poland Seminary 54-42.

In Division III, the defending state champion Vikings of Villa Angela St Joe's are back after a 69-60 win over Youngstown Ursuline.
