The Golden State Warriors are making a return trip to the NBA Finals where they will face off with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Warriors became the 10th team in league history to win a playoff series after trailing three games to one.

Stephen Curry scored 24 of his 36 points in the second half of the Warriors' 96-88 triumph over Oklahoma City in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals. The two-time reigning MVP scored the Warriors last eight points, including a 3-pointer that put Golden State ahead by 10 with 26.8 seconds left.

It was a rally within a rally for the Warriors. The Thunder led 35-22 after Andre Roberson's basket with about seven minutes left in the first half, but the Warriors cut the deficit to six by halftime and outscored Oklahoma City 29-12 in the third quarter.

Golden State hit 17 of its 37 3-point attempts, with Curry going 7-for-12. He also finished with eight assists for the Warriors, who will host the first two games of the finals against Cleveland.

Klay Thompson finished with 21 points for the Warriors, while Draymond Green added 11 and nine rebounds. Thompson hit six 3-pointers after setting an NBA playoff record with 11 in Game 6.

Kevin Durant scored seven of his 27 points over the final 3 1/2 minutes to help the Thunder stay within striking distance. Russell Westbrook had 19 points and 13 assists but shot just 7-for-21.

The Warriors and the Cavs will meet for Game 1 of the finals Thursday in Oakland.
