Zeke Marshall to play for Sixers in NBA Summer League

CLEVELAND,OH - Former Akron Zips center Zeke Marshall received some great news this weekend when he learned he will be playing for the Philadelphia 76ers Orlando Summer League team in July.

The seven footer went undrafted during this years NBA draft but was confident he would catch on with a summer league team. Marshall, the two-time MAC Defensive Player of The Year will leave right away for Orlando. The league begins July 7th and runs thru the 12th.

The summer league, a yearly event allows rookies, young prospects, and NBA hopefuls to gain five-on-five experience in front of scouts, general managers, and other league decision-makers.

Marshall hopes to also play in the Las Vegas summer league which begins the week after Orlando ends.
