The Ohio State University and the University of Oregon have agreed to a home-and-home football series with games to be played in 2020 in Eugene, Ore., and in 2021 in Columbus.
"Oregon has developed into one of the premier football programs in the FBS," Gene Smith, Ohio State Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics, said. "We are excited to add them to our future slate of games."
The Buckeyes and the Ducks have met eight times previously, including in the 2010 Rose Bowl game, a 26-17 Ohio State win. The first meeting between the teams came in the 1958 Rose Bowl, a 10-7 Ohio State win. All six meetings between those Rose Bowl games were Ohio State wins.
Ohio State will play Oregon Sept. 12, 2020 in Eugene and then Sept. 11, 2021 at Ohio Stadium.
Ohio State's 2016 non-conference schedule has now been finalized with the addition of two more games. Ohio State will host the University of Tulsa Sept. 10 and Central Michigan Sept. 24. This will be Ohio State's first meeting on the gridiron with each team.
