COLUMBUS - According to an online oddsmaker Bovada , the Ohio State Buckeyes are the heavy favorite to win the Big Ten Championship opening the season with 10 to 11 odds of winning the crown.
Meanwhile, the reigning Big Ten champion Michigan State Spartans are considered a legitimate threat of repeating their championship glory, with a season opening of 15 to 4 odds, the second best in the conference.
Arch-rival for the Buckeyes, the Michigan Wolverines are considered the fifth favorite team to win the conference as they enter pre-season camp with 9 to 1 odds which falls behind Wisconsin at 9 to 2 odds and Nebraska with 11 to 2 odds.
The lowest odds in the Big Ten went to the Purdue Boilermakers, led by formerKent State Golden Flashes Head Coach Darrell Hazel. They are listed at 300 to 1 odds.
