COLUMBUS - Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller has reinjured his right shoulder Monday, according to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch.
The Buckeyes have yet to confirm the injury and head coach Urban Meyer has not been reached for comment.
Miller, a senior, underwent minor surgery on the shoulder in February and the team had been moving him along slowly in his recovery. Miller was also in the Heisman conversation.
He threw for 2,094 yards and 24 touchdowns, and ran for another 12 scores in leading the Buckeyes to the Discover Orange Bowl last season.
The Associated Press released its first preseason top 25 rankings on Sunday and Ohio State came in at #5.
The Buckeyes open their season Aug. 30 at Navy.
