LANSING, Mich. - Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder plans to be in Atlanta to watch the Wolverines play for the NCAA men's basketball championship.
Snyder earned three degrees from the University of Michigan by age 23 and is a long-time season ticket holder to men's basketball games. He says it's "very exciting" to go to the title game Monday night and he hopes the Michigan-Louisville matchup is a good one.
Snyder told reporters at a morning event in Lansing that he isn't taking a state-funded plane to Atlanta.
He's also working on a wager with Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear and says a cherry pie could be on the line.
