KENT, Ohio - On Wednesday the Dean of Students at Kent State University upheld the three year suspension of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.
Dean Shay Little released a statement to the president of Sigma Tau Gamma regarding her decision to uphold the suspension.
The fraternity is suspended due to a hazing incident that occurred March 7-8.
School officials say the suspension does not affect the students' academic standing at Kent State.
Sigma Tau Gamma will be suspended from the campus through May 30, 2017.
