John Carroll club hockey qualifies for national tournament

CLEVELAND, OH - The John Carroll mens club hockey team has made history with the school first ever trip to the D-1 National Tournament in Chicago this weekend.

Heading into play this weekend, John Carroll is ranked 23rd nationally. The top 20 teams qualify for the elite tournament. The field is made up of 6 conference winners and 14 at large bids.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of club hockey at the school, a team which won just eight games three years ago, but back to back 20 plus win seasons have the school headed in the right direction.
