The Browns will be without Corey Coleman, their top rookie receiver for their first exhibition game against Green Bay.

Coleman, who hasn't practiced since catching three long passes from Robert Griffin III in a scrimmage last week, will miss Friday night's game with a hamstring injury, according to coach Hue Jackson.

The 15th overall selection in the draft said he felt his hamstring pull during the scrimmage at the team's facility in Berea.

Veteran receiver Andrew Hawkins also won't play against the Packers while dealing with a hamstring injury.

"Those guys, we're going to make sure they're exactly where they need to be (before they play)," Jackson said. "My job is to make sure that our players are ok."

Receiver Terrelle Pryor was pulled from Wednesday's practice with an apparent calf injury, but no decision has been made about his status for Friday's exhibition.

"I think Terrelle will be fine," Jackson said. "He was practicing and I made a decision to take him out. He wanted to stay out there."

In addition to Coleman and Hawkins, the Browns will be without former Pro Bowl receiver Josh Gordon on Friday night, as he continues to recover from a quad injury suffered during independent offseason workouts.

After a season-long suspension in 2015, Gordon was reinstated by Commissioner Roger Goodell on July 25.

The Browns will travel to Green Bay on Thursday.
