One game to go, Browns lose again

DENVER - The Cleveland Browns lost to the Denver Broncos 34-12. The Browns will end the season at Pittsburgh next week. Both the Browns and Steelers have been eliminated from the playoffs.

Quarterback Brandon Weeden left the third quarter with a shoulder injury. Weeden was 12 of 19 for 104 yards. He was replaced by Colt McCoy. McCoy would throw the Browns only touchdown pass of the game to Greg Little in the fourth quarter. McCoy was 9 of 17 for 79 yards. It was the first time he has thrown the ball all year.  Phil Dawson kicked two field goals.

Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson passed Jim Brown for the most rushing yards by a  Browns rookie. Brown had 942 in 1957. Brown only played in 12 regular season games. Richardson ended up with 9 carries for 59 yards. He was taken off the field near the end of the game after being hit in the leg, by a cart.

Denver quarterback Peyton Manning owned the Browns, he was 30 of 43 passing for 339 yards, 3 touchdowns and one interception.

Denver is on a 10 game winning streak. The Browns fall to 5-10.
