The NFL announced on Friday Cleveland Browns' Armonty Bryant has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2016 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

The NFL said Bryant is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

Cleveland Browns player De'Ante Saunders was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol around 2:15 a.m. Christmas morning after a traffic stop on I-71 SB in Brook Park, according to a citation obtained by newsnet5.com. Bryant was Saunders' passenger. Though Bryant was not arrested or charged, OSHP officials said he was in possession of Adderall.

Bryant was later indicted on felony drug charges.
