Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel joined 40 fellow rookies at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday to pose for his rookie trading card.
As part of the NFL Players Association Rookie Premiere, Manziel was dressed in full gear, wearing his dark brown No. 2 jersey, the one he will be wearing for home games for the Cleveland Browns this year.
Despite all the attention he has received from media including his weekend trip in Las Vegas and reports that he may serve as the backup to Brian Hoyer this season, Manziel is focused on playing his part for the Browns.
"For me, anything I can do to help the Cleveland Browns, that's all I really want to do," Manziel said Saturday. "Whatever the situation may be and whatever happens this year, as long as I can do something to try and make the team better, that's all I'm really going for."
Cleveland Browns fans will have their first opportunity to see Manziel play when training camp opens up on July 25 at 4 p.m.
However, due to the increased popularity of the Browns, largely because of Manziel, and the 5,000 people capacity limit for the browns training camp, fans will have to register online in order to attend.
The organization is still working on the details of the registration, but promises they will remain free of charge.
No registration forms have been released.
