ESPN's Adam Schefter reports former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron gets private workout with Browns

Johnny Manziel gets private workout this weekend

CLEVELAND - With less than a month to go before the NFL player draft, the Cleveland Browns are putting a few more quarterbacks under the microscope.

The latest, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter, is former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.

So far, the team has worked out former Fresno State QB Derek Carr and former Eastern Illinois QB Jimmy Garoppolo already.

Reports say Johnny Manziel gets a visit from the team this weekend. Adam Caplan says Blake Bortles will get a workout with the Browns next week.

No word on whether Teddy Bridgewater has a workout with the team scheduled--or whether he's already had one--but reports say he hasn't done well in the private meetings he's had.
