Could Hoyer be a fit for the Browns?

Could former St. Ignatius quarterback come back to Cleveland?  He was released by the Arizona Cardinals.

Hoyer would have cost a team a second-round draft pick as a result of his tender if he was signed to an offer sheet during the period to sign restricted free agents. According to ESPN he was scheduled to make $2,023,000 in 2013.

He spend three years in New England as a back-up to Tom Brady. But, he was released in New England, and was picked up by the Cardinals late last season and started the team's last game.

He finished last season with 330 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions, completing 30 of 53 pass attempts in two games.

He became expendable when the Cards picked up Carson Palmer

NFL.Com's Gregg Rosenthal reported The Browns could be a might be a possible suitor; GM Michael Lombardi has said positive things about Hoyer in the past.  http://on.nfl.com/12qgbr9
