The Cleveland Browns have signed tight end David Reeves and placed defensive lineman Desmond Bryant on reserve/non-football injury for his pectoral.

Reeves, who is 6 foot 4 inches tall and 255 pounds, is a rookie out of Duke University. He originally was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers an as undrafted free agent at the beginning of May, but was waived on May 17.

As a four-year letterman at Duke, Reeves appeared in 53 games and had 47 receptions for 367 yards and seven touchdowns. He is a native of Greensboro, Ala. and graduated from Greensboro Public West High School.
