The Cleveland Browns have signed cornerback Jamar Taylor to a three-year contract extension.

The deal is reportedly worth $15 million, according to the Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich.

"Jamar has been a really good addition to our secondary and we are happy to come to an agreement with him on an extension,” said Browns Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown. “He's an extremely hard worker and has shown true perseverance throughout his NFL career."

Taylor was acquired by the Browns from the Miami Dolphins for the 223rd overall pick in the 2016 draft. This season, he's tallied career highs with two interceptions and eight passes defensed. He also has 40 tackles through 11 games, of which he's started 10.

For his career, Taylor has notched 119 tackles, 12 passes defensed, two interceptions and one fumble recovery in 44 games. He's in his fourth season and was drafted by the Dolphins out of Boise State.
