Jordan Payton, a rookie wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns, has been suspended for the team's next four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs.

Payton is suspended without pay, and is eligible to return on Monday, Jan. 2 after the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Jan. 1.

The rookie was drafted by the Browns out of UCLA in the fifth round with the 154th pick. Payton has been active for four games, tallying one catch for three yards.
