The Cleveland Browns interviewed Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase Wednesday, newsnet5.com Sports Anchor Mike Cairns confirmed.
Gase was the first to be interviewed for the head coach position after former coach Mike Pettine was fired, along with General Manager Ray Farmer.
The Browns also interviewed Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin Wednesday.
According to WaitingForNextYear.com, former Buffalo head coach Doug Marrone, Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, and New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia also have interviews lined up for the position.
