Browns alumni Ron Bolton and Clinton Burrell catch up with Coach Sam Rutigliano and Reggie Rucker.
Bolton played defensive back for the Browns from 1972 to 1975. He lead the team in interceptions in 1980. Including a pick six against the Oakland Raiders in the AFC playoffs better known to Browns fans as "Red Right 88. " Bolton came to the Browns in 1975 after being drafted by the New England Patriots. He return to his alma mater at Norfolk State to coach after playing for the Browns. Bolton then joined coach Sam at Liberty. He is currently the defensive back coach under head coach Gary Harrel at Howard University.
Burrell was a sixth round pick for the Browns in 1979. The Louisiana State product played there as a backup as a rookie and then was moved to cornerback in 1980 when Lawrence Johnson fractured his shoulder in the second game. Despite the tough transition, Burrell played like a veteran who had been at cornerback his whole career. He then moved back to safety in 1981 and started there for three years before retiring following the 1984 season.
Reggie Rucker leads the four men who created so many memories for Browns fans in the 80's.
