CLEVELAND - Browns running back Peyton Hillis has advanced to the Final Four in the bracket to grace the cover of upcoming Madden 12.
Hillis earned 60 percent of the votes in his third round matchup against Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles. He will now face Green Bay Packers quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers in the semi-final.
This is the first year that EA Sports has allowed fans to pick the cover star, and fans can vote on ESPN's website. Each voting round lasts for one week.
The contest is set up in bracket similar to the NCAA tournament, with players from all 32 teams in the running.
So far, Hillis has also beat out Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.
As a 10 seed, Hillis was one of the underdogs from the start of the bracket, and he is the lowest seed remaining. The other finalists include Rodgers, Adrian Peterson and Michael Vick.
