BEREA, Ohio - Browns wide receiver Greg Little found inspiration in the bye week during a talk with former NBA star Alonzo Mourning.
During a two-hour lunch last week in Miami, Little said he was inspired by Mourning, whose message to him was that only sacrifice can lead to individual growth and team success. Little's dropped passes earlier this season were costly for Cleveland and he angered some Browns fans with posts on Twitter. Before practice on Monday, Little passed along Mourning's message to his teammates.
Little said some of the Browns seemed a little "shocked" by his serious tone, but his speech was well received.
The Browns (2-7) returned from their week off recharged for the final seven games. Cornerback Joe Haden said it was good for players "to go home, relax, just chill and picture how they wanted the rest of the season to go."
