CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Browns have cleared quarterback Jason Campbell to practice with the team this week following his Nov. 24 concussion that knocked him out of play against the Jaguars, Coach Rob Chudzinski said Thursday morning.
The NFL has not cleared him for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
The team has seen a fluid quarterback roster in the last two weeks: a week after Campbell's injury, Brandon Weeden suffered a concussion in Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars.
The Browns worked out Hanie last week, but decided to sign Alex Tanney off Dallas' practice squad. Tanney backed up Weeden on Sunday against Jacksonville.
