Cleveland Browns player Armonty Bryant pleaded guilty Wednesday on a drug charge stemming from a citation he received after being pulled over on Christmas morning last year.

Bryant and former Browns player De'Ante Saunders were pulled over on Interstate 71 in Brook Park for going 75 mph in a 60 mph zone around 2:15 a.m. on Dec. 25.

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said Bryant was in possession of Adderall at the time of the traffic stop. Saunders was driving. Troopers also found a concealed handgun with no permit.

On Wednesday, Bryant pleaded guilty to attempted drug possession.

Earlier this year, the NFL announced that Bryant would be suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2016 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Bryant was sentenced to serve 68 days on probation. He also received a suspended jail sentence of 180 days and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
