An issue on the road Saturday had no carryover to Josh Gordon’s game Sunday.
The second-year receiver posted a photo on Instagram of a car, in which he was a passenger, on a tow bed.
“@el_padrino16 first day out here & we nearly died.. #welcometocleveland #Phobiaofdrivinginsnow #IHATESNOW #houstonboys #coogs"
The account @el_padrino16 is under the name Bram Kohlhausen, listed on the University of Houston’s football roster as a senior quarterback. Both he and Gordon went to Lamar High School in Houston.
Gordon addressed the incident when asked by the media following the game.
“The weather happened,” Gordon said. “[It was] definitely scary. Whenever it’s life-threatening, you should be scared.”
Gordon continued to say that he was not driving and it has nothing to do with the game.
Snow lingered across northeast Ohio Saturday creating treacherous conditions on some roadways.
Gordon was held without a reception in the first half but finished with three receptions, 67 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Bears.
