Browns wide out Josh Gordon is looking at least a one-year suspension for violating league's substance abuse policy. According to a report his hearing will be at the end of July.
According to Mike Florio, of Pro Football Talk, Gordon will have a hearing scheduled for late July.
According to the report , it’s still possible that a hearing won’t be needed, if the NFL and the NFLPA work out a reduced suspension.
Gordon was suspended for the first four games of last season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. That suspension was reduced to two games.
He said in that case he used cough medicine containing codeine while recovering from strep throat.
If Gordon is suspended for a year, the ban will start immediately.
