Akron man starts petition, says Browns made Chud a scapegoat for 2013 season

TWINSBURG, Oh - It's another year, and another coaching search for the Cleveland Browns. But if one local fan had his way, the team's old coach will be the team's new coach.

Justin Sims has followed in his father's footsteps as a life-long Browns fan. Now Sims is behind an online petition to get Rob Chudzinski back as the Browns head coach.


Sims says the organization made Chud a scapegoat for a poor 2013 season and fired him for no good reason.

In the online petition, Sims demands the Browns 'reinstate Rob Chudzinski as head coach, or provide a detailed explanation of his shortcomings over the course of the 2013 season.' Sims adds Chud is being used as a scapegoat in order to draw attention away from the organization's real problems.

So far, the online petition has over 100 signatures,
