After making 8 hires, Browns turn coaching search focus to the offense, talk to Kyle Shanahan

CLLEVELAND - One day after announcing eight hires on the defensive side of the football, head coach Mike Pettine and the Browns will interview two candidates for the vacant Offensive Coordinator position over the next two days.

The Browns will be bringing in former Washington Redskins Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan on Wednesday. Shanahan who served under his father Mike, lost his job when his father was relieved of his duties after the Redskins season ended.

The 34-year-old Shanahan and his father Mike Shanahan, the Redskins' former head coach, were let go on Dec. 30 after the Redskins finished a disapointing 3-13. Shanahan has also interviewed for at least two other coordinator positions this month, but was passed over by Baltimore and Miami.
